Local Registration for The Ranger Bicycling Event- OPEN!
Local Registration for The Ranger Bicycling Event- OPEN!
The Ranger, a cycling event at the Tunbridge Fairgrounds, welcomes local bicycle riders and racers to our 2025 event on Sunday, June 8. The Ranger is a community bike ride, first and foremost. That’s why it’s important to us that every local rider has the opportunity to participate. To help make this happen, we open registration two weeks early for locals. Participants from Tunbridge and any of the towns that touch it—Royalton, Sharon, Strafford, Bethel, Randolph, Brookfield, Chelsea and Vershire—may register early for The Ranger and at a discounted rate. New this year, all youth ride for FREE! Use the password *LocalRider25* (it’s case sensitive) to register. Upon checkout, enter the coupon code *LocalEntry25* again (beneath “Rewards & Discounts”) to receive discounted pricing. After registration opens to everyone on February 15, the discount code will remain valid until registration is filled. The Ranger is truly a "race within a ride," as only certain segments of the route are timed. There is also a Community No-Drop Ride, which means that you can choose to ride with a group that will stay together. Participants can also camp at the Fairgrounds and enjoy a “party in the pasture” with food, beer and music on both Saturday and Sunday. The Ranger donates $10,000+ to local organizations and projects focused on stewardship for rural and agricultural land, access to outdoor recreation and sustaining small communities. If you encounter any issues with registration, please email tyler@therangervt.com. On February 15, registration opens to the masses, so we encourage you to take advantage of this two week window to register early. Thank you, Rachel Cohen, Event Organizer
