Forest Management Tour at Ashley Community Forest

There is an active forest management project currently taking place at the Ashley Community Forest to implement forestry practices recommended in the approved forest stewardship plan.

The ACF Board will host a tour on the morning of *Saturday December 7th, 9-11* to view recent progress.

We will talk about the reasons for the work, how it is planned and organized, visit with logger Bob Wilson (if he is available), watch the work from a safe distance and explain how a timber sale is implemented in practice.

All are welcome. Meet at the Ashley Community Forest parking area located at the end Nutting Road in Strafford.
